The Flow within Panel #1

Today I spent a few hours on panel #1. I think I'm getting the sense of how the eye should travel across this particular panel.

Gently up and down, back and forth -- but still giving one a sense of peace.

    This piece has so much movement and layering to it which makes it visually great.

    Dear Valerie,

    Your work is fascinating! In these panels I think you have reached just the right balance of realism and abstraction.

    I love to look at maps, and imagine what the real place looks like, or to look at maps of places I've been, and remember the journey.
